Activities Coordinator

Key responsibilities include:

· Plan daily activities, both inside and outside the facility to stimulate and promote resident interest and general wellbeing.

· Encourage residents to participate in activities such as walking group, bingo, crafts, spa time, gardening, and etc.

· Keep the facility’s activities calendar updated monthly to ensure there are no scheduling conflicts with other events.

· Host monthly resident council meeting – Typing up hours, resident check in at 14 days mark, and follow-up with each department on addressing concerns.

· Purchase and provide materials and supplies in keeping with department budget.

· Gather resident feedback and assess satisfaction levels with scheduled programming and focus on continuous improvement.

· Assist with set up and clean up dining tables for breakfast and lunch.

· Assist with weight residents and vitals.

· Do range of motion with residents.

· Plan and set up for resident’s birthday.

· Document resident participation in ECP.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
