Behavior Technician/RBT
Hope is a clinical, educational, and therapeutic provider for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder. At Therapy Relief at Hope, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Registered Behavior Technicians and other qualified service professionals provide medically necessary Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to individuals with ASD and developmental disabilities of all ages.
Therapy Relief at Hope is searching for qualified Behavior Technicians to service the St. Louis/South County areas. Starting rate is $17/hour. Afternoon/evening availability preferred.
Behavior Technician Essential Duties:
- Implement programming to teach children with Autism Spectrum Disorder using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.
- Effectively communicate with families/guardians about their child’s progress.
- Work with the treatment team to track session data and help clients achieve individualized communication and early learning goals.
- Assist with planning and preparing for individual or group activities.
- Model professional appearance and attitudes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or equivalent education.
- Successful background clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a psychology, education, or human services related field.
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
- Enthusiasm for working with children.
- Has obtained Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
