Director of Operations

The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing facilities and HR functions as well as providing financial and administrative support, managing projects and ensuring compliance with funding and regulatory agencies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, human resources, finance, and administration.

The Director of Operations will: Oversee Human Resource activities; ensure operations are conducted in a cost-effective manner; improve operational management systems and processes based on best practices; manage projects related to facilities and procurement; ensure review of and compliance with agency policies and procedures; provide support and assistance to the Finance Director, CEO and Board of Directors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or at least five years’ experience in HR, administration and/or financial management.
• Demonstrated leadership and management experience.
• Familiarity with accounting software and principles.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Must be committed to building and sustaining a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment within which to work or receive services.
