Description
Mill 95 is an independent, progressive service provider to craft brewers and hop growers. The Mill was inspired by southwest Idaho’s vibrant hop cultivation and culture along Route 95. We act from conviction that local capability to evaluate, care for and process hops would be valued by growers and brewers alike. Mill 95 offers great hops originating from Idaho, the Pacific Northwest and beyond, supported by expertise, scale and agility directed toward delivering distinctly favorable customer experiences. We are in our fourth year of operation and pride ourselves on our relationships and flexibility in meeting brewer needs via a versatile range of hop varietals. We are a small team dedicated to achieving common goals, willing to jump-in wherever needed, and accountable to one another. We are seeking a Senior Finance Associate responsible for day-to-day finance, accounting, and business process duties.

Specific job duties include:
Finance
- Perform materials requirement planning per sales projections, standard usage, manufacturing schedules and storage capacity
- Compensation tracking and coordination for all regular staff and seasonal contract labor
- Support and/or handle capital project expenditure administration, net working capital efficiency, budgeting, journal entries, forecasting and payment preparation for accounts payable and general / administrative expense
- Generate preliminary monthly closes, financial statements and variance analyses for review by Business Manager
Business Process Development
Primary point of contact for:
- Enterprise Resource Platform (ERP) and day-to-day transaction and integration audits, inventory cycle counts, asset register management, staff training and certification, and upgrade evaluation and project management
- ISO 9001 including design and execute internal self-assessment audits, and coordination of process level continuous improvements
Marketing / Sales
- Perform order-to-cash and customer accounting including credit research and policy development and administration, invoicing and receivable collection, and bad debt reserves
- Complete customer profitability analysis (e.g., volume / mix / price / margin)
- Sales pipeline reporting, administration and forecast management
Requirements

- Associate degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Two or more years of direct professional experience in bookkeeping / accounting, Enterprise resource platforms (SAP, ADP, QuickBooks or other integrated small to mid-market integrated applications), other functions directly relevant to the role, and manufacturing exposure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel (functions & calculations, spreadsheet formatting and workbook integration, data sorts and queries)
- Proficiency in cloud storage systems like Dropbox and interactive teleconferencing
- Sense of urgency and precise attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
