As a Revenue Cycle and Contracting Coordinator at Horizon, you will…

• Develop pricing proposals and support contract negotiations with health plans to offer competitive rates and support our mission to treatment and recovery.  
• Perform rate impact analysis, service and trend analysis, and contract expansions to maximize revenue
• Assist in process improvements within the department
• Assist in the development of various billing reports and statistics
• Assist with EHR Billing logic and module setup
• Additional responsibilities as assigned within our Billing & Finance Department.

What makes you a great candidate?

We can’t wait to learn more about you! Here are a few specifics of what you’ll need for the job:

• Bachelor’s degree required

• Must have an understanding of health insurance billing, strong verbal and written communication skills, and proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel, strong analytical skills, and a strong work ethic.

Hours

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm.

Compensation:

Horizon is consistently evaluating our compensation and benefit packages to ensure we remain competitive. The range of pay for this position is $70,000 - $80,000. Starting pay may be impacted based on experience and education. Compensation adjustments are evaluated annually. 

Physical demands associated with this position include:  

• Sitting for extended periods, alternating between standing and sitting
• Mobility required with repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements
• Handling light duties, occasionally lifting objects up to 20 pounds
