Activity - Recreation Director – Behavioral Health
Description:
Seeking a dynamic Activity – Recreation Director on the 20-bed Geriatric Psychiatry Unit in the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville, MS.
The Activity Director is responsible for conducting high quality patient care, completing an activity assessment to be used in treatment planning and treatment of each patient within 72 hours of admission. Plans therapeutic activities for patients admitted to the hospital. Documents therapeutic activities. Functions as a member of the multi-disciplinary team and participates in the community education program.
This is a full-time 40 hour per week position. Offering competitive compensation package.

Requirements:
Requires Associate Degree or higher, or COTA. The qualified person for this position can be an Activity Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Recreation Therapist, Music Therapist, or Art Therapist.
