Director of Finance

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Accounting, the Director of Finance will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the hotel operations. Key responsibilities include financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, exceptional financial acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Director of Finance Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize revenue and profitability
• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports in accordance with company guidelines
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
• Monitor and manage cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
• Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
• Coordinate with department heads to develop cost-control initiatives and maximize operational efficiency
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
• Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory agencies to facilitate audits and inspections
• Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Director of Finance Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Proven track record of financial management and strategic planning
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a focus on team building and employee development
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the hospitality industry
