Horizon Tire is looking to quickly hire an IT Manager to join our quickly growing team.
Horizon was started in 2004 and has rapidly become one of North America’s largest and most well-known private brand marketers and distributors of tires and tire-related products. Horizon has offices and warehouses in Los Angeles, Houston, Memphis, and Qindao, China. We source our products from China, Southeast Asia, and Eastern Europe.

Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Lead the team to ensure the smooth daily operation covering most of the following: ERP system (Dynamic GP or any popular ERP), databases (MSSQL), network (windows active directory), computers (mostly windows PC), servers (mostly windows servers), and other computer related equipment.
2. Review and implement needed backup and security strategies to ensure continuity of operation in case of outages or disasters.
3. Proactively work with various vendors to evaluate needed solutions, such as ERP upgrades, team collaboration/efficiency tools, and data storage solutions.
4. Work with developers to develop/maintain data tools to support the needs from various department.
5. Evaluate IT related procurement needs
6. Assist with e-commerce related system needs
Required Skills/Abilities:
Bachelor degree or above with computer science or CIS/MIS major, or equivalent work experience
- Sufficient understanding of one or more ERP, databases, and the active directory network.
- Experience or sufficient understanding of network security and pros and cons of various backup strategies.
- Adequate knowledge about database and software development, to lead/work with developers.
- Knowledge about e-commerce is a strong plus.
Other Requirements:
· Bilingual in Mandarin is preferred but not required.
