Clinical Psychologist to conduct psychological testing and diagnostic evaluations in Durham, NC.

Are you a Clinical Psychologist looking for a lucrative job (or side hustle) that offers flexibility and simplicity? Are you looking to get into (or back into) psychological assessment without diving into full-blown, comprehensive assessments? Do you have a knack for differential diagnosis? If so, you have come to the right place!

We are looking for independent and motivated psychologists who are interested in conducting in-person psychological assessments and diagnostic interviews with adults and children. This job involves using your testing and diagnostic skills without needing to be a neuropsychologist. You will have lots of independence and freedom and will be provided all the training and consultation you need. If you are already set up in an office in Durham and would like to use your own office for this position, that's great! However, if not, don’t worry! We will provide you with an office that will work well for the position.

Duties:

- Conduct brief, but thorough, psychological assessments and psychodiagnostic evaluations of patients’ mental health conditions to provide diagnoses and comment on the functional limitations for the individual across 4-5 areas.

- Write brief psychological reports to be submitted within 7 days of the examination

- Sign, submit, and electronically approve each report

- That’s it!

Requirements:

- Doctorate degree in Psychology

- Valid licensure as a Clinical Psychologist in North Carolina

- Psychological testing experience with the WAIS-IV, WISC-V, WIAT-IV, WRAT5, and preferably WMS-IV

- Experience in conducting mental health evaluations

-Experience writing psychological reports

What the job offers:

- Competitive pay- This is a contract position which will pay $100-$300 per appointment. In a full day, making $1,100- $1,500 is doable! (Yes, Really.)

- Same day payments

- Flexibility, - Work as much or as little as you want (but one full day per week is highly preferred)

- Straightforward work. We take care of everything else behind the scenes to make things super easy on you.

- All the orientation/training and ongoing consultation you’ll need.

To apply:

- Submit your CV, a cover letter and three letters of recommendation

This potion can be challenging and involves working with a population suffering from chronic mental health challenges, comorbidities, trauma histories, substance use difficulties, etc. Psychologists who have worked in prisons, community mental health, in-patient hospitals, and so on, usually fit well. However! Don’t rule it out if you’re on the fence! Many psychologists at different career stages and from different backgrounds will fit wonderfully.

If you are passionate about providing high-quality mental health evaluations, making a difference in others’ lives, and making good money while you do it, we strongly encourage you to apply.
