Required:

- Overall 8 years of QA Experience with at least 3 years of experience in data / ETL testing.
- Responsible for leading testing efforts for the team(s) in a capability
- Prior experience defining test strategy and planning QA efforts for the team.
- Should have experience in planning test automation, risk-based testing, defect triage.
- Prior experience in providing testing estimates, tracking progress to plan, working with capabilities in case of risks and issues and reporting status accurately to leadership.
- Coordinate with test environments and data teams to help take delivery forward.
- Review test results and provide demos to end users.
- Prior experience working in agile, participating in Release planning, sprint planning, backlog grooming and retrospectives.
- Capable of identifying efficiencies in overall process and proposing changes for continuous improvement.
- Ability to engage and discuss with data architects / data developers, ask questions, and get the information required.
- Candidate should be a quick learner and ready to take new challenges.
- Candidate needs to be ready to be hands on if needed. This role will be expected to be technical, review test cases, triage defects, get into the database layer and run queries, provide analysis if needed.
- Candidate should have experience with managing change and leading a team through change.
- Prior experience with an ETL automation tool like Query Surge / any other will be an added advantage. Candidate will be expected to learn Automation and deliver if he does not have prior experience with Query Surge
- Prior experience in guiding the team through implementation of DevOps for QA automation will help
- Prior experience in Azure / other cloud platform will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent collaboration skills, building relationships with the business and development team.
- Excellent analytical skills must be able to dig deep and understand stand the strategy.
- Lead the QA efforts for planning, writing test cases and test execution along with status reports.
- Coordinate / collaborate automation solutions.
- Create SQL scripts with test cases.
