The Tester will partner with application/product owners, functional owners, and tech leads to identify scenarios and execute tests to verify data and ensure that data is flowing to the appropriate systems. You will work across the board to ensure all deliverables are completed successfully and on time.
To give you an idea of how this Tester role would look and feel, here are some areas you can expect to work in:
- Create orders on Web and Mobile applications and validate that pricing, promotion, and coupon data is flowing to applications as well as other integrated systems as expected
- Perform project tasks using standard software testing methodology
- Demonstrate accountability for testing tasks assigned to the project
- Develop and deliver formal written communication to the project team and leaders as needed
- Deliver day-to-day assignments with a high level of quality and attention to detail
- Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile)
- Experience working with multiple teams and integration across multiple applications
- Experience delivering testing services in an onshore/offshore model
- Familiarity with HP ALM for test and defect management
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and planning skills
