RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides weekly customer specific reporting to sales team and customer.
- Updates weekly broker scorecard with HDS pulled information.
- Managers sample orders for the region assigned.
- Coordinates team meeting (hotels, meal, etc.).
- Provides administrative support to Sales Team, as needed, including developing and modifying PowerPoint presentations, complex Word documents and Spreadsheets.
- Manages all order changes (which are very frequent): facilitates/ensures order quantities and due dates are updated in both customer system and Hormel system.
- Receives screen shot of customer system or email confirmation from customer.
- Receives Hormel order confirmation.
- Reports shortages to customer (receives Hormel shortage reports).
- Assists with customer order accuracy - quantities, due dates, pricing.
- During allocations, made sure customer ordered full allocation each week.
- Reports pricing discrepancies to Hormel sales.
- Handles all communication on late trucks and makes sure Hormel transportation updates customer appt system.
- Assists sales with getting weekly movement data from procurement on certain items for Hormel forecast updates.
- Chase orders to make sure they are in on time (meet lead time, holiday exceptions, Columbus beef, etc.).
- Cost increase/decrease loaded into customer systems.
- New/Change/Disco item system set up to include new item numbers (HDS and customer)
- Collects past due invoices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
- Demonstrated proficiency in the Windows environment, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Calendar and have basic internet navigation skills.
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential situations - position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
- Demonstrated strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work.
- Ability to initiate appropriate action independently.
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical ability.
