Associate

Job Summary :

The Facilities Associate is responsible for building repair, custodial duties, maintaining outside grounds, and preventive maintenance.

This role will assist with the daily maintenance of various areas within the building. This role will need to be able to work in a fast paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work, and champion and adhere to safe work practices.

Essential Job Duties :

• Perform basic tasks including painting, patching drywall, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
• Capable of handling maintenance tasks that require advanced skills and / or experience specifically in :
• CNC Machines (Lathe, Milling, Grinding, Threading etc.)
• Pneumatics
• Regularly check the building to identify issues with cleanliness and identify any maintenance issues that arise.
• Responsible for the upkeep and management of preventative maintenance in the building.
• Maintain the cleanliness of outside spaces such as parking lots, picnic tables, and sidewalks.
• Works safely, quickly, and efficiently to meet all deadlines by the organization.
• Responsible for adhering to and championing OSHA guidelines.
• Responsible for adhering to and championing Safety guidelines.
• Maintains a professional relationship with peers and outside vendors.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Experience & Skills :

• Highschool diploma or equivalent qualification required.
• Minimum of 3 years working experience in similar role required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years working in a manufacturing environment highly preferred.
• Experience with plumbing and electrical systems preferred.
• The ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment is required.
• Basic computer skills, detail oriented, and technical skills are required.
