As a Warehouse Associate, you will be an indispensable member of our warehouse team, contributing to every aspect of our operations. Your role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, from receiving and storing inventory to fulfilling orders and ensuring the overall efficiency and organization of our facility.
Responsibilities:
Receive incoming shipments, unload trucks, and carefully inspect goods for damages or discrepancies.
Compare received items to packing lists or purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
Organize and store inventory in designated locations, utilizing inventory management systems as needed.
Conduct regular inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels and reconcile discrepancies.
Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, following specific instructions and packaging guidelines.
Utilize picking lists or order tickets to locate and retrieve items from inventory.
Ensure that orders are properly packaged, labeled, and prepared for shipment according to customer requirements.
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and proficiently.
Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods and adherence to safety protocols.
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the warehouse, including storage areas, aisles, and shipping/receiving docks.
Perform general housekeeping duties, such as sweeping, mopping, and disposing of debris.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow, solve problems, and meet operational goals.
Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to provide updates on tasks, inventory levels, and any issues that may arise.
Support a positive work environment by demonstrating teamwork, respect, and a willingness to help others.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and proficiently; forklift certification is a plus.
Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
Attention to detail and accuracy in tasks such as order picking, packing, and inventory counting.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Experience with inventory management software or systems.
Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
