The Enrollment & Credentialing Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring that our medical clinic operates efficiently and in compliance with industry standards. This position is responsible for managing the insurance enrollment, credentialing and re-credentialing processes for healthcare providers within the clinic. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a deep understanding of credentialing requirements in the medical field.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in using credentialing software and other relevant technology tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in handling sensitive information.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical credentialing, preferably in a clinical setting.
- Knowledge of enrollment standards, regulations, and processes within the healthcare industry.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in using credentialing software and other relevant technology tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in handling sensitive information.
