What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chaplain - Hospice position at Hospice of Humboldt?
Hospice of Humboldt is accepting applications for a Half-time Chaplain.
The Chaplain provides spiritual care to patients and their families and caregivers and assists them with rituals and ceremonies. The Chaplain collaborates with other members of the Interdisciplinary Group to develop and revise the patient’s Plan of Care.
The Half-time position is up between 20 to 29 hours a week with partial benefits.
Minimum Qualifications are as follows:
- Master’s degree in theology, religious studies or related field from an accredited seminary, college or university.
- Experience in chaplaincy, pastoral ministry or similar field.
- Valid driver’s license, proof of acceptable automobile insurance coverage, and reliable transportation as specified by Hospice of Humboldt’s policies.
- Reliable mobile phone with plan that provides good local coverage.
- Basic computer skills
