What are the responsibilities and job description for the ADMISSION RN position at Hospice of The Red River Valley?
Position Summary
Provision of admission services to potential patients and families consistent with the goals, definitions, philosophy, and purpose of Hospice of the Red River Valley. Provision of the initial patient admission and physical assessment for all patients being admitted to HRRV services. Identifies and coordinates initial medication and equipment needs and completes the initial plan of care for all admissions.

Qualifications*
- Minimum of RN degree; BSN preferred
- Minimum of two years experience in a health care setting
- Minimum of one year experience as a hospital staff nurse
- Computer skills and experience are desired
- Strong interpersonal, communication, assessment, counseling and teaching skills.
- Team player with ability to work independently.
- Flexibility in scheduling is required.

- Current state RN license in North Dakota and Minnesota
- Current drivers license and auto insurance
