Position Summary
At Hospice of the Red River Valley we are looking for a motivated, self starter who can provide admission services to potential patients and families. As an Admission Nurse this person will complete and initial and comprehensive assessment of the patient and family to determine hospice needs. This includes providing a complete physical assessment and history of current and previous illness. The Admission Nurse will write and initiate a plan of care and participating in revising the plan of care as necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum of RN degree, BSN preferred
- Minimum of two years experience in a health care setting
- Minimum of one year experience as a hospital staff nurse
- Strong interpersonal, communication, assessment, counseling and teaching skills
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Flexibility in scheduling is require
Certifiations, Licenses, Registrations Required
- Current state RN license in North Dakota and Minnesota
- Current drivers license and auto insurance
