Job Description: Development & Community Event Coordinator
The Development & Community Marketing Coordinator will be a motivated, creative member who will coordinate Hospice of the Upstate’s rentals including Rose Hall Dining Room and Sadler Conference room. This individual will be responsible for increasing community utilization of both rooms. This position also includes assisting the Development department in the implementation of a variety of fundraising and community marketing initiatives.
Supervised by: Director of Development & Media
Essential Functions:
Participate in the planning and execution of all community and fundraising events.
Develop and implement a community marketing plan for Sadler Conference Room and Rose Hall Dining Room.
Assist the Director of Development and Media with fundraising events.
Manage the event rental calendar and execute scheduled events.
Coordinate between the housekeeping and dietary department to ensure that events run smoothly, and rental needs are met.
Manage Donor Express by inputting and correcting donor records, setting up campaigns, logging pledges, gifts in kind and matching gifts.
Maintain accurate record of donors and their contact information.
Maintain an accurate list of donors and their contact information.
Create and run reports to track income, segment mailing lists, and coordinate direct and bulk mail.
Demonstrate and communicate the mission, ethics and goals of the organization as the face of hospice.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
