What are the responsibilities and job description for the Foundation Assistant position at Hospice?
The Administrative Assistant for the Foundation:
- Will provide administrative support to the Chief Philanthropy Officer of the Suncoast Hospice Foundation by assisting with special projects and acting as liaison and administrative contact to Suncoast Hospice Foundation Board of Trustees and other affiliate board members.
- Will represent Suncoast Hospice Foundation and Empath Health to the organization and the community and requires a strong emphasis on professionalism, leadership and customer service.
- Must be self-motivated, detail oriented and possess a high degree of independent judgement and ability to problem-solve.
Position Requirements:
- Education/Experience: Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and diplomacy, both oral and written, required.
- Entrepreneurial, creative, strategic thinker able to balance multiple complex projects.
- Must possess excellent organizational and management skills.
- Must be self-motivated, detail oriented and possess a high degree of independent judgement and ability to problem-solve.
- Fundraising experience preferred but not required.
- Must be adept at analysis, strategy, planning and implementation of projects and events.
