Job Summary:
- Performs various direct patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Assists patients with activities of daily living to include dressing, bathing, or eating
- Collects non-invasive body fluid specimens and gathers vital signs
- Aids physicians and nursing staff members with procedures as needed
- Documents patient interactions
Qualifications:
- State Registered Nurse Aid with the Kentucky Board of Nursing Certification from an accredited nursing assistant program
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and perform a variety of tasks
- Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with patient, guest, physicians, and other employees.
