Summary
PRN (As Needed)
Under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse, provides direct and non-direct patient care according to their scope of practice. Understands and reacts effectively to the unique needs of all patients. Works collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team to provide safe patient care.
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
Experience
1 year of experience in acute care setting is preferred.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) or PCT (Patient Care Technician) certification in state of practice is preferred.
BLS (Basic Life Support) is required within 30 days upon hire.
