We are set to hire a Sales Coordinator to be a part of the amazing and collaborative sales team at Hotel Boulderado. We are seeking a strong and detail-oriented coordinator that is adept at working across a variety of departments. We are looking for a new team member to contribute to this already very successful property by executing our events efficiently and flawlessly, keeping our banquets department informed of all client expectations and event updates.
Located in the Heart of Downtown Boulder, just steps from Pearl Street Mall, Hotel Boulderado is a luxury historic hotel and landmark. The 160-room property offers historic charm for the modern traveler with top-of-the-line amenities.
Our unique venue offers 10,000 square feet of event space for meetings, conferences, retreats, and social events. In addition, our hotel offers 3 on-site restaurants that host multiple events throughout the year. The Sales Coordinator will be expected to detail events once the client is contracted, to planning and execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Create Event Orders for booked functions (85% corporate, 15% social)
· Prepare and conduct the weekly BEO meeting
· Work with clients one on one planning their events; this includes scheduling planning phone calls, conducting site tours, and in-person planning meetings
· Keep track of event changes and updates. Send out a daily change log and keep the Banquets department up to date on upcoming events.
- Work as a team with the Sales Managers, Banquet Department, and culinary team, as well as all other departments in the hotel.
- Assist sales team with sales and planning activities.
- Represent Hotel Boulderado in various events and exhibitions.
- Conduct and arrange site inspection trips of the hotel.
- Provide quick and timely responses (within 24 business hours) and develop professional relationships.
- Always provide the highest quality of service to the customer.
- Support our service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings.
- Be present at events to build rapport with the client and assist the banquet department as needed.
· Maintain knowledge of industry and trends in market, particularly amongst competitor set.
· Maintain regular attendance and is consistently on time.
· Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include compliance with the dress code.

Requirements:
· 1-2 years working in hotels
· 1 year experience in Food & Beverage / Catering sales or similar customer-facing role
· High attention to detail. Being pro-active and having a sense of urgency is imperative to the success of this position.
· Focus on guest service and satisfaction
· Creative and efficient problem solving
· Excellent organizational skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Knowledge of hotel and competitive market
· Knowledge of events & meetings
· Understand the hotel's operations, including room types, meeting capacities, services, features and benefits
· Knowledge of Maestro PMS is a Plus!

Salary: $48K, with bonus structure in 2022.
