Collectively our team creates, sells and supports software that gives hotels everything they need to manage labor costs. We’re thirteen years young and have never stopped innovating and growing, with our suite of products now used by over 5000 hotels. We are looking for a new Director of Sales (reporting to Chief Revenue Officer) to join us. If our worldview feels like it might match yours let's get to know each other!
Your Challenge
Over 50,000 hotels in the USA still need help controlling their labor costs. The Growth team is responsible for finding the leaders of the companies which own and operate these hotels and giving them the opportunity to take advantage of our best-in-class team profitability technology. Each Sales Director will pursue new business relationships while sharing best practices for labor management, productivity optimization, and expense oversight with seasoned hotel operators.
What kinds of things would you be doing pretty regularly?
Research each target account to understand their needs, interests, and priorities
Create account-specific plans to attract and engage top prospects
Conduct targeted demonstrations of our products tailored to the major interest areas of our prospective customers
Develop tailored proposals to hotel management executives based upon the requirements and priorities of each prospective customer’s hotels
Execute definitive agreements with new customers and oversee the transition of new accounts through the implementation and onboarding process, ensuring that customer priorities and goals are clearly understood from the outset of each new customer’s experience
Come up with new ideas and views on how we can innovate to support our customers even better than we currently do

What you will need to succeed
4 years in a corporate sales role
Experience selling to the hotel industry
Experience with technology sales, particularly software and SaaS
Familiarity with hotel operations, economics, and terminology
Strong oral and written communications skills
Experience selling virtually and face-to-face
Proven persuasive, negotiations, and contracting skills
Relationship-oriented

Prior experience presenting to senior leadership team including C-level leaders at hotel management and ownership companies
Established relationships with hotel management companies
Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university
Familiarity with account-based marketing and integrated sales & marketing programs
