Hotel Equities, multi-award-winning hotel development, and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a dynamic Director of E-Commerce/Marketing for Hotel Equities in Alpharetta, GA
Your expertise shapes us:
The Director of E-Commerce/Marketing is a self-starter with outstanding project management and problem-solving skills. Responsible for amplifying our brand messaging and awareness for Hotel Equities, portfolio hotels, and venues by supporting and guiding brand implementation, marketing, digital presence. The success of this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:
50% Support Marketing Team and Property Team Development
- Coordinate and oversee projects of the marketing team
- Facilitate the personal and professional development of the marketing team
- Manage formalized training opportunities for the marketing team
- Monitor marketing team performance and coach and counsel as needed
- Review and submit hourly payroll for the marketing team
- Facilitate ongoing performance evaluations and formalized evaluations on an annual basis
- Participate in monthly DOSM calls and provide training oversight
- Develop a schedule for monthly social media champion (SMC) calls
- Develop a schedule for quarterly reputation champion (RC) calls
- Develop training protocols for basic to advanced marketing topics for DOSM and property teams
- Administer onboarding training for SMC and RC
- Develop and launch SOPs as necessary
15% Brand Development, Pre-Opening and Renovation Support
- Act as brand marketing liaison for portfolio support (Marriott, Hilton, etc)
- Ensure portfolio adherence to all available brand marketing initiatives and standards
- Support the branding initiatives for hotels, restaurants, logo development, etc.
- Execute/Ensure proper brand development and submission of paperwork
- Facilitate and Lead development of brand voice and identity with the property executive team
- Coordinate the execution of the operationalization of the brand identity
- Lead training at the property level to implement brand story and service culture
- Oversee property implementation of brand identity expectations
- Pre-opening marketing planning for hotels and restaurants
- Pre-opening digital and social account creation (Google, Facebook, Bing, Yahoo, Gmail, etc)
- Coordinate the development and launch of new websites
- Coordinate the launch of online listings (TripAdvisor, Yelp, etc)
15% Corporate Support
- Ownership pitch decks and presentations
- Marketing and social media strategy
- Assist with corporate recruitment marketing campaigns
- Digital tools and platform research, recommendation, purchase, and implementation
- Coordinate with Public Relations company for publications
- Conference presentations and team-wide trainings
- Marketing SOP development
- Marketing performance case study creation
- Digital asset management (updating relevant photos, folders, etc. on intranet)
- Support Greenwood EFFECT with design, copy, etc.
- Facilitate website development & ongoing maintenance
- Quarterly newsletter development & publishing as needed
10% Develop Digital Marketing Strategies to Achieve Property Revenue Goals
- Participate in a monthly revenue call as needed to recommend marketing activities
- Support the development of annual eCommerce and PR plan for each hotel
- Analyze past and present trends and make recommendations for future strategies
- Marketing support of critical care and newly opened properties
10% Develop Marketing Platforms, Tools and Promotions for Hotel Portfolio
- Develop and manage blogger/influencer engagement through perspective brands, web development companies, etc.
- Digital tools and platform research, recommendation, purchase, implementation, launch, and onboarding
- Support and facilitate when needed large scale videography, photography, design projects
- Support creative development of new platforms and campaigns
You Are:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organization skills, manages time well, correctly prioritizes, and is flexible with scheduling of hours.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to manage and influence outside departments and agencies.
- Strong interpersonal skills and possession of a full understanding of professional business ethics, decorum, and social skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
