Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and professional Host to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a pivotal role in providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere that sets the tone for the exceptional dining experience that awaits them at Larsen. Your dedication to creating a positive first impression and your commitment to impeccable guest service are essential to the restaurant's continued success.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests with a friendly, professional, and courteous demeanor.
• Must be familiar with Open Table reservation system, ensuring accurate bookings and confirming reservations.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus and any necessary information.
• Anticipate and accommodate special requests and preferences of guests.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing lobby and waiting area.
• Communicate with the restaurant team to ensure a smooth flow of guests to their tables.
• Assist in coordinating private events and special occasions.
• Handle guest inquiries and address any concerns promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure an efficient and memorable dining experience for guests.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Host in an upscale or fine dining establishment is preferred.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
