Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor dogs in a daycare setting
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs in your care
- Engage dogs in playtime and activities
- Feed and provide water to dogs according to schedules
- Clean and maintain the daycare facility, including kennels, play areas, and equipment
- Assist with basic grooming tasks such as brushing and bathing
- Administer medications to dogs as directed by their owners or veterinarians
Skills
- Experience in dog training or animal handling is preferred
- Knowledge of pet sitting, animal care, and pet grooming practices
- Ability to lift heavy objects as needed
- Familiarity with veterinary procedures is a plus
- Proficient in animal restraint techniques
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude towards animals
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 per hour
