What are the responsibilities and job description for the Circulation Coordinator position at Hour Media LLC?
Hour Media is seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Circulation Coordinator for our subscription circulation department in Madison Heights, MI.
Responsibilities include:
- Interacting with customers over the phone and email regarding subscription orders, billing payments and issues, general publication or subscription questions. The Circulation Coordinator must maintain a high level of professionalism and be able to listen to customer service issues and then offer quick and accurate assistance to our customers.
- Data entry in system database for mail/email/phone subscription orders & transactions across all Hour Media titles.
- Opening, sorting, and batching subscription mail.
- Processing payments for all subscription orders under a strict deadline.
- Communicate and coordinate with other internal departments.
- Managing USPS and UPS shipments for customer requested orders of our publications.
- Creating and maintaining multiple Excel documents and reports.
- Other general office duties as assigned.
Ideal candidate is organized and courteous with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a customer service related field. Associate degree or higher is preferred. Strong background in Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Computer literate, excellent typing skills with a strong attention to detail and an eye for accuracy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills is a must.
