Location: Des Moines, IA
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
PRIMARY PURPOSE: This position is responsible for washing and detailing the exterior and interior of all new, used and company owned units for the dealership, along with keepings the service line organized and transporting trucks in and out of the service bays for work completion.

FOCUS:
- Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Detail and wash unit interiors and exteriors by performing tasks such as vacuuming, washing windows, cleaning tire sidewalls, and applying cleaning fluids. Units include customer trucks and equipment, along with company owned vehicles.
- Assist with the delivery of units upon detail completion.
- Power wash all ramps and driveways on company grounds, as needed.
- Complete yard and lawn upkeep by pulling weeds, picking up yard liter, watering outdoor plants, and removing snow and ice from business premises.
- Keep the service line organized and document proper location of all units.
- Check in trucks using Asist and JPRO program when needed.
- Jump start trucks, or charge batteries as instructed, in order to get trucks running and brought into the Service shop.
- Note any damage that is noticed before parking a customer's vehicle.
- Assist the Lot Manager with additional projects as time allows.
- Maintain a professional image at all times.
- Must follow the Company's safety rules and safety policies.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Valid Driver's License and dependable transportation.
- Class A or B CDL preferred, but not required.
- Must have an eye for detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Ability to prioritize.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or GED required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Alpha/numeric keyboarding.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Standing, climbing, stooping, squatting, walking, and reaching for extended periods of time.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- The work environment for this position is varied due to the differences in our work site. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic and outside weather conditions.
- Works indoors and outdoors.
- Noise level is usually moderate to very loud.
- May require some evening hours and weekends, when needed.
COMPENSATION:
- $15.00 to $18.00 per hour, based on experience.
