Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Group Facilitator to join our team. As a Group Facilitator, you will play a crucial role in providing counseling and therapy services to individuals in a group setting. Your expertise in behavioral therapy and psychotherapy will be essential in helping patients achieve their therapeutic goals.
Duties:
- Conduct group therapy sessions to address various mental health and substance use concerns
- Create a safe and supportive environment for group participants
- Facilitate discussions and encourage active participation among group members
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to guide group sessions
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans
- Provide crisis intervention when necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of group members
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
Skills:
- Proficiency in gender issues counseling, behavioral therapy, and psychotherapy
- Knowledge of ICD-10 diagnostic codes and their application in clinical practice
- Experience in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
- Strong diagnostic evaluation skills to assess patient needs accurately
- Familiarity with motivational interviewing techniques to promote positive behavior change
- Ability to work effectively in a clinical setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate group dynamics
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously
