Work Experience and Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; demonstrated computer experience with application software (MS Office Suite). Must be able to pass a criminal history records check.
Grades 6 & 7
Incumbent has four or more years’ experience relevant to this position.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Incumbent must have strong computer skills; excellent organizational skills; and excellent oral and written communications skills. Incumbent must be able to work well under pressure, exercise discretion and independent judgment in handling sensitive information, and maintain a professional and courteous work disposition; must be tactful and courteous in dealings with Members, staff, and representatives of other agencies.
Grades 6 & 7
In addition to the above KSAs, incumbent is able to simultaneously handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
Work Schedule:
Full-time, permanent. Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Duties Include:
- Performs data entry functions to process ID badges.
- Captures digital images and produces ID badges.
- Provides clerical support to the office by maintaining current files, answering telephone calls, and sending information to Congressional offices.
- Works with the Director, ID Services to maintain records of all IDs issued, lost, stolen, and terminated.
- Assists in maintaining a full inventory of supplies.
- Responsible for maintaining archives of records from previous Congresses.
- Utilizes reports for use in database maintenance.
- Conducts periodic audits of data entry and badge issuance records.
- Collaborates with other offices relating to the issuance and return of ID badges.
- Sorts and distributes mail.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Grades 6 & 7
In addition to above duties, incumbent assists with special projects.Salary : $67,797 - $71,202
