We’re looking for:
Housecall Pro is looking for an experienced and motivated content marketer to lead our content marketing team. In this role, you'll work cross-functionally to help define and execute our content strategy, directly manage a team, and use data to optimize engagement and drive growth.
The ideal candidate has foundational knowledge of content management systems, and a proven track record planning, producing, editing, & releasing content. You excel at organizing and breaking down topics into engaging and digestible narratives.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead the content marketing team through excellent communication, analytical thinking, and team building skills
- Collaborate cross-functionally with SEO, product marketing, performance marketing and other business stakeholders to define our content strategy
- Own the end-to-end project management of key content marketing campaigns to take an idea from concept to shipped
- Manage content production for a variety of formats and channels to drive measurable business impact in quality site traffic, lead generation, product adoption, and revenue growth
- Measure and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, and use insights to iterate on content strategies
- Work directly with the copywriting and creative teams to develop written, visual, audio, and video assets to support our content initiatives
- Prioritize content development and initiatives in a fast-paced environment, with multiple competing requests
- Own the technology, process, and best practices behind our content
Qualifications:
- 3 years of content marketing experience. Experience with B2B SaaS products is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.
- Demonstrated project and campaign management experience, including the delivery of multi-channel and multimedia content strategies.
- Experience planning, producing, editing, and releasing content that drives engagement and conversion across the customer lifecycle.
- Outstanding writing and proofreading skills, with the ability to adapt communications to different audiences and channels. Social media fluency or experience managing branded social channels is a plus.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills with ability to translate complex technical solutions into a simple customer language.
- Track record of using data-driven insights to develop and iterate on content.
- Ability to collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders, including SEO and Product Marketing.
- Great attention to detail, creativity, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize work and self-manage time.
- Familiarity with content management systems (ex: Contentful) and website analytics tools (ex: Amplitude, Google Analytics) are a plus.
- Empathy for or experience with home service businesses is a plus.
