Role Overview:
As a People Analyst at Housecall Pro, you will play a crucial role in supporting our compensation practices and people analytics function. You’ll use different market data resources to benchmark roles across the company to help bring in new candidates and ensure pay equity across our organization. You’ll also flex your data-driven mindset to support reporting and analysis work for the People team. You have an extreme attention to detail and thrive on making sure information is accurate for every stakeholder you partner with.

What you do each day:
- Use external pay data resources and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for new and current positions within the company to support hiring, promotions, and salary adjustments.
- Partners with the Organizational Development team to assess jobs and their respective duties to determine classification as exempt or nonexempt and appropriate salary range.
- Prepares and presents summary reports of job analysis and compensation analysis information.
- Gathers data from market-based compensation surveys; performs quantitative data analysis to, and summarizes results and market trends.
- Prepares and maintains job descriptions for each position in the organization; ensures descriptions accurately reflect the work being performed by incumbents.
- Supports job changes within the organization through documentation and system updates.
- Leverages HRIS to provide standard people reports to stakeholders across the company.
- Provides analytics support for various People programs and initiatives, include DEI, employee benefits, employee engagement and more.
- Advises management on applicable state and federal employment regulations, benefits and compensation policies, human resource procedures, and collective agreements.
- Supports data management best practices within HRIS and other People team documentation, including updates, organization and process.
- Partners with members of the People team to streamline processes, find efficiencies, and communicate changes
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in compensation or analytics field
- 1 years Human Resources experience preferred
- Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet software such as Excel and Google Sheets; knowledge of Tableau and other visualization tools a plus
- Experience with HR tools including HRIS, compensation tools preferred
- Knowledge of human resource laws, regulations and best practices.

This role is open to candidates inside and outside of Colorado and the expected salary range for this role is $76,000-$85,000. The specific salary for the successful candidate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible to participate in Housecall Pro’s equity plan and the following benefits: health care insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability), employee assistance program, 401(K), flexible time off, paid parental leave, tech reimbursement, and other company benefits.
