Private family located in Bedford, New York is in search of a Household Manager for the oversight and management of the household and family life.
This position will focus primarily on managing schedules and calendars, ensuring general family and household operations run smoothly and maintaining organizational tools to ensure all systems run properly and efficiently.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following–
• Arrange appointments for personal and professional needs
• Schedule home maintenance and repair work, and supervise the projects
• Manage household inventory and replenish as needed
• Assist with travel plans; arrange flights, accommodations, rentals, reservations, etc.
• Manage family vehicles; service appointments, track required yearly maintenance work, renew
policies, arrange detailing as needed
• Administrative duties; billpay, budgeting and tracking expenses
• Running errands and performing necessary tasks; including grocery shopping and
personal/family-related errands
• Supervision and management of household staff; overseeing quality of work, handling schedule
changes when necessary, tracking and managing payment
• Home organizing and tidying duties
• Simple meal scheduling and coordination
• Laundering and putting away clothing, or changing linens
• Assist with gift purchasing, wrapping and shipping
• Event planning, organizing, and coordination
• Oversight of an employer’s finances and valuables
• Travel may be required at times

• Clean driving record and comfortable driving children
• 3-5 years relevant experience
• Tech savvy and well-versed in excel
• Responsible, efficient, organized
• Can-do attitude, team-player, flexible and willingness to pitch in wherever needed
