Courteous and respectful Principals are looking to hire a discrete and energetic, neat and organized Housekeeper to provide full detailed house cleaning of their home on the Intercoastal Waterway of Ft. Lauderdale. Florida.
The Formal "Mr. and Mrs" have had long term employees for many years and are looking for a very particular candidate seeking a long term position. Must provide deep and daily house cleaning and laundering and be willing to go aboard the family yacht to help serve during parties if needed. The family has a First and Second Mate responsible for cleaning the interior of the boat, however, this candidate will be responsible for laundering the yacht's linens and also be flexible to assist the other staff if needed....a real team player with NO personal drama brought to the job.
Friendly, polite, and NOT chatty.
Must love dogs.
Must be ok working on weekends but can have any 2 days off during the week.
The family will provide a stipend for a required uniform: Khaki pants. A shirt will be provided by the family.
MUST Currently reside within a reasonable commute time to the property, under one hour.
About the Family
Adults: 2
Dogs: Tiny dog, not a barker, and on occasion when their adult son visits, he'll bring his Golden Retriever
Current Staff:The family has a PA, 2 Housekeepers (one is leaving after 25 years!), and a 3 person crew for their 100 ft. yacht, mostly stationed outside their property.
Position Responsibilities
- Housekeeping: Full Housekeeping, deep, cleaning, tidying, and organizing. Help as needed assisting the crew with cleaning of their 100 ft. yacht
- Laundry: Yes, Daily linens. Also responsible for the linens on board the family yacht as needed
- Driving: Yes, Preferred
Position Requirements
- Work Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 5 days a week, MUST work Sat. and Sunday, and 3 weekdays, with 2 days off during the week
- Languages: English, Spanish a Plus
- Must be discrete and not chatty
- Must love dogs
- Must be ok working on weekends but can have any 2 days off during the week
- Must be OK working on the boat for local dinner party cruising only
- Experience: Years of Experience
- References: Minimum of 2 References

Position Compensation
- Salary: $35.00-$40.00/hr, through Payroll
