The Ideal Candidate : We are seeking a highly professional, friendly, and reliable candidate to provide both childcare and household support for a busy family.
The ideal candidate will be great with children, capable of creating a fun, nurturing, and engaging environment, while also being organized and efficient in managing household tasks.
Family is busy- they are looking to hire their long-term support. Candidate must be able to adapt, be proactive, and organized.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide flexible childcare support, which may include morning and afternoon care, depending on the family’s schedule.
- Engage with two children, ages 5 and 6, who are in school full-time. Plan and participate in fun, educational, and age-appropriate activities, such as trips to the library and creative play.
- Foster a warm, caring, and positive environment for the children.
- Handle household responsibilities during school hours (there will also be a break during the day), including :
- Grocery shopping
- Organizing and tidying common areas
- Meal prep
- Receiving and managing deliveries and returns
- Light housekeeping to maintain household cleanliness (a professional cleaning service is provided bi-weekly).
What Works Best for Family : Kind, compassionate, someone that has patience and experience with autism is a bonus (one child is high functioning).
