What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nanny/Housekeeper position at Household Staffing?
Private family looking hire a Full-time live-out Nanny/Housekeeper.
The family has 2 children. Ages 3 months and 4.5 years. They are looking to replace their current long term Nanny who is having a bay of her own.
The Ideal Candidate: Someone who will genuinely care about the children and has a passion for working with kids. Someone who is ready to actively engage. The parents limit screen time for their 4.5 year old and don't plan to expose their baby to any screens for the first 2 years of his life. They want someone who is a good/open communicator and can go with the the flow. Someone who speaks Mandarin or Hebrew would be a plus but is not required. Also someone that can cook easy vegetarian meals for the parents.
What Works Best for Family: Daily hours may vary slightly but generally will be 9-5 or 10-6. Once arriving in the morning, this individual will check in with family to talk about the day. The days generally consist of caring for the baby boy (feeding, playing, etc.). Their daughter will be in pre-k most of the day and will need to be picked up most days in the mid/late afternoon. Get kids fed for dinner and possibly help with bath time and bed time on some nights. As necessary and when time permits to fit in grocery shopping, errands, and light housekeeping (such as dishes, kids' laundry, etc.). Also, cook easy vegetarian meals for parents and daughter.
