Private family in Reston, Virginia is in search of a full time nanny to work in their home. They have a 1.5 and 3 year old.
A typical day may look like taking kids on morning walks, taking part in sensory bin, music instruments, baking, and other hands on play with the children - read books and sing songs with children- clean up after child activities, kid room, kid playroom (no need to clean outside of kid activities ). Nanny should have the ability to warm up food for lunch and snacks - attend local library story time once or twice a week- light grocery shopping and errands - assist with potty training of 2 year old.
What Works Best for Family: 1) absolutely caring and compassionate. Patient.2) ability and preference to employ redirecting vs negative reinforcement or discipline - no time outs 3) imaginative - play dress up with kid costumes, read books about animals and dinosaurs4) ability to take instruction and advice regarding care for the children

- Work Hours: M-Fri 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM
- Experience: Experience working a similar role
- References: Minimum of 2 References
- Background: Pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire
Position Compensation
- Salary: $30 - flexible based on experience
