PROS TO THE JOB: This can be a fun position with some positive high notes for reliable, hard workers who make a reasonable effort to LEARN AND LISTEN as a team player and can effectively display proper preparedness and punctuality. We do not make excuses or drama here. All staff members have problems they can handle privately at home, but we leave them where they belong AT HOME and have no desire to hear about YOUR issues at work. CONS and CHALLENGES:
A) MEMORIAL DAY TO AUGUST 22ND, SATURDAYS AND (SOME SUNDAYS) ARE A MUST. HOWEVER, PERFORMANCE BONUSES ARE OFFERED TO RELIABLE AND MOST DEPENDABLE TOP PRODUCERS.
B) Not all our clients are easy to work with, and you will face a few crabapples here or there. Having experience in customer service and a positive attitude helps. Sometimes, we deal with HIGH-END LUXURY CLIENTS THAT ARE DEMANDING. This means your professionalism must always be displayed when working in multi-million dollar homes as you are constantly being watched on cameras 24-7. Proper professional conduct is required, with an upbeat, positive attitude displaying the utmost respect and an outstanding work ethic. The PLUS is that our clients, whom we treat like Unicorns who want to be pampered as we solve their problems, will TIP YOU GENEROUSLY for taking their issues away. Job Overview:
We are seeking punctual, organized, reliable, and detail-oriented Housekeepers and cleaners to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings such as hotels, high-end mansions, hospitality establishments, or commercial facilities. Your keen eye for cleanliness and dedication to creating a professional and welcoming environment will be highly valued by our team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning of surfaces
- Ensure all rooms and common areas are cleaned and sanitized according to established standards
- Change linens and make beds
- Stock and replenish supplies in rooms and common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed
- Follow strict safety protocol guidelines, systems, and use appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment as trained by owners and lead training staff members.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations
Requirements:
MUST HAVES:
- Position is only if you have your own reliable transportation to arrive to and from various locations. (Gas milage stipends are offered). NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Clean background and driving record is a MUST.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, climbing multiple flights of steps, and lifting heavy objects up to 25 lbs is required.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
A PLUS:
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques for different surfaces and materials is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with hospitality or hotel industry practices is a plus
- Experience in industrial cleaning or custodial work is an asset
