Position Description
Service Integration Coordinator
Full Time Exempt (40 hours per week)
$ 24 - $26 per hour plus benefits
SUMMARY:
Collaborates closely with community partners, social service providers, school districts and the faith community on social service projects and issues through the established Service Integration program; provides facilitation and coordination of three Service Integration teams; develops and maintains communication and collaboration among all key social service agencies; develops community resources; demonstrates and provides leadership among community partners. Requires frequent community presentations and group meeting facilitation. The Service Integration Coordinator reports directly to the Executive Director.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED: May act as a lead worker over assigned staff; assigns and monitors work. May oversee the work of volunteers, and/or practicum students as assigned.
TYPICAL DUTIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
· Coordinates and facilitates three Service Integration Team meetings (SIT) throughout Lincoln County. Assists with and supports the development of strategies and goals as identified by the local SI teams.
· Builds team meeting agendas; receives and processes funding requests and monitors SI team funds.
· Coordinates and organizes SIT projects, activities and large-scale community outreach events, including a Resource Fair (formerly known as Homelessness Connect)
· Coordinates and facilitates training for community partners and provides technical assistance for staff, service providers and the community.
· Develops a Resource Directory, this directory may include a listing of state and/or local service providers that HALC residents can contact for assistance (e.g. services to families, children, individuals who are elderly, persons with disabilities, emergency assistance), etc.
· Develops, supports, and maintains collaboration and connections among community partners. Promotes healthy, viable collaborations in both the public and private sector; maintains a working relationship with key partners; serves on committees as appropriate.
· Prepares detailed reports and presentations as needed for partners, the Lincoln County Homeless Advisory Board, county administration and other funding sources.
· Assists Service Integration program and/or SIT teams to generate resources for continuation and expansion of Service Integration projects.
· Performs related duties as required.
EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of: Major aspects of social service and education systems; aspects of working with multi-disciplinary teams; program evaluation; collective impact and collaboration models.
Ability to: Speak in front of an audience; facilitate and lead community meetings; produce clear, understandable written communication; analyze and resolve problems in a professional manner; interface with other county, local and State agencies; work autonomously with a self-directed work style; have excellent people skills and ability to work productively with a variety of groups and individuals.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING: Bachelor’s degree in a major related to social services (psychology, sociology, etc.) and two years of experience in developing community resources and collaborative projects, team building and developing or managing community groups or non-profit; or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess and maintain a valid Oregon driver’s license, automobile insurance, and have access to and use of a personal automobile as a condition of employment.
