Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated bi-lingual (Spanish speaking) Behavior Technician to join our team. This is a part-time position that can turn into a full-time position. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals with behavioral challenges in implementing behavior plans and interventions.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to individuals
- Collect and record data on individual's behaviors
- Assist in developing individualized goals and objectives
- Collaborate with the treatment team to provide comprehensive care
- Utilize behavior management techniques to support clients
Qualifications:
- Experience or interest in patient care and working with individuals with special needs
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality
- Background in special education is a plus
