Primarily responsible for providing professional nursing care within the assigned unit. Coordinates plan of care with the patient, their family, and the interdisciplinary team. Ensures appropriate resources to all internal/external customers. Responsible for carrying out the mission, vision, and quality commitment of Houston Healthcare. # Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. One (1) year med/surg experience. Residency or Fellowship programs may apply depending on department and experience. # Current RN licensure by the Georgia State Board of Nursing. Current AHA/ARC BLS certification. # Must be able to utilize standard office equipment. Must be able to utilize diagnostic equipment as well as patient care equipment. Must be able to utilize personal protective equipment such as gloves, gown, mask, etc. # Successful candidates will be subject to criminal background and drug screens.
