Project Manager

HoverTech International, a medical device company established in 1997 is seeking a Project Manager to join their team.

The Project Manager is responsible for supporting various R&D projects within the organization while working independently to achieve target timelines and objectives.

Project Manager Responsibilities

• Conduct project meetings internally with department representatives and externally with vendors and manufacturers.
• Create and maintain the Device Master Records (DMRs) for all assigned projects and assigned products.
• Evaluate, and maintain project budgets.
• Creates and manages project timelines, evaluates project resources, and reviews proposals with management.
• Executes Stage Gate Process from onset of the project through product launch ensuring each project adheres to HoverTech’s process requirements and confirming tasks are completed.
• Manages the day-to-day activities of all assigned projects.
• Responsible for securing key inputs from Product Development Team, manufacturers, and finance to assure product pricing is in line with expected margins.
• Addresses project risks through each individual stage of a project and communicate issues to various departments and management.
• Verifies testing data, test reports, and validation documentation.
• Maintains all documentation compliant with company QA/QC and FDA regulations.

Project Manager Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 4-7 yrs. project management experience in a manufacturing environment (medical device preferred).
• 4 yrs. project management software experience (Microsoft Project preferred).
• Proficient in Excel.
• Working knowledge of international requirements/standards applicable to medical devices.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Self-starter and the ability to work well with cross functional teams.
• Ability to travel domestic and internationally 10%
• *Ability to lift 25 pounds?

***Hover Tech International is a true team and when shipments arrive your will find the entire company, regardless of level, assisting with unloading containers so, you will need to be able to lift 25 lbs.

Preferred:

• PMP or CAPM certification
• Working knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 9001
