About You: You are a knowledgeable audit professional, seeking to grow your career and to aid in the development of others. You know how to ask for help when needed, but take initiative when opportunities arise. You have strong understanding of audit practices, and you are eager to learn and take on new challenges. You work hard, know your stuff, and deserve to be recognized for it. You don’t need to be micromanaged because you have goals and are motivated to meet and exceed expectations. Most importantly, you are ready to manage client schedules and assignment of staff to Engagements.
About the Job: We are more than just CPAs, we are insightful problem solvers and trusted advisors. Howard wants to hire a strong leader, interested in keeping up to date on technical standards, assist and review the work of the in-charge on engagements, and approve engagement risk and scope of audits for final review and approval by the appropriate Partner. You will work collaboratively with the planning team, delegating work and managing client accounts including billing, fee analysis, and collections. Our next Audit Manager will be able to provide constructive feedback to develop staff, develop and maintain relationships with clients and work with them to identify issues and make recommendations for business improvements, and communicate department decisions and assist in the accountability of such items. They facilitate in monitoring of employee performance and lead development conversations for team members, understanding that this collaboration will only supplement their development. We will hire someone who is as comfortable working independently as collaboratively, who communicates easily with all team members, accepts feedback and critique as tools to improve, and most of all is ready to grow into an exceptional and critical member of our Team.

Compensation Range
$100,000 - $115,000 annually
