Job Summary
The School Operations Manager is responsible for assisting administration with specific duties regarding academic programs, projects, services, or functions to include academic program planning, implementation, and evaluation. This job performs administrative functions directly related to academic services provided by our company and school.
Nature of Work
This position reports to the HR Operations & Compliance Manager and/or President fulfilling administrative duties and functions within the corporate structure. The School Operations Manager directly support the HR Operations & Compliance Manager and/or President with all facets of administrative functions aligned to instruction such as academic intake and processing, coordinating key events involving academic services, scheduling of all program registrations and consultations, project management, management of Administrative Assistant and key positions, ensuring company policies ad practices are evident, assist with testing and evaluation services, evaluating quality methods of administrative functions, maintaining accurate record keeping of all learning management systems, company portals, and additional technology infrastructures, assisting the President with additional duties as assigned.
The School Operations Manager ensures that all academic functions seamlessly align to expedite client intake and services maximizing increased efficiency for designated programs within our company and school structure. This job requires administrative and analytical work which is directly related to the academic mission of the company and school, requiring the application of discretion and judgment on matters of significance with respect to client and partnership information, curriculum, course management and instruction. The duties of this position are to provide general business administration support to academic programs within Howard Scholars Academy.
Duties and Responsibilities

•Manage all client intake for academic services and programs via our learning management systems, school information systems, HSA Project portal, and additional databases. Ensure all academic data, files, correspondence, and other valuable information are adequately archived within the learning management systems, school information systems, permanent student records, HSA Project portal, and additional databases are accurate for quality record keeping in alignment with national accreditation agencies.
•Coordinate with School Registrar and Admission Liasion and/or School Secretary to provide real-time registration of completed student profiles to receive designated educational services within 24 to 48 business hours.
•Provide or disseminate information to administrative and instructional staff on key programmatic information such as school calendars, school events, professional development offerings, and other information needed for faculty and staff.
•Manage and train Admissions Intake Specialist and Office Interns providing assigned tasks and monitoring the progress of designated projects.
•Coordinate with designees from various partnerships on all intake efforts for academic programs.
•Develop and manage designated student caseloads for Academic Advisors
•Prepare materials and assessments for posting via online web pages or for distribution.
•In absence of the President, serve as a liaison with other academic and administrative programs or events.
•Perform other administrative and analytical duties supporting the academic mission of the company or school.
Minimum Qualification Requirements: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in education, Business/Office Administration with a minimum of two years of experience.

Pay: $38,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
