Job description
Howard Sheppard, LLC, is looking for a Driver Manager experienced in chemical tank truck and ISO logistics working out of their Ellabell, GA location.
This is a Salaried Position starting from $55,000 to $68,000 per year based on experience.
We seek a Career Orientated individual who can demonstrate a history of effective management and interaction with drivers, other driver managers, CSR personnel and customers.
Successful candidates must be able to:

Demonstrate the ability to understand and effectively interact with drivers.
Strong computer skills using AS 400, Outlook, Excel, and other software programs.
Knowledge of hazardous material handling and regulations preferred.
Comprehensive knowledge of Hours-of-Service rules and regulations
Responsibilities Include:
Plan assigned drivers and equipment to shipments. Shipments are hazardous & nonhazardous, liquid & dry commodities, containers & ISO. Provide support to drivers to carry out dispatch assignments Monitor driver compliance with on-time pickups, deliveries, HOS, & safety Maintain data in dispatch software
