Painter Chipper

What needs to be done? · Loads and unloads units on the paint line. · Reviews tags and documentation for special requirements and painting specifications. · Cleans and maintains all spraying and hand painting equipment, and changes filters in both paint booths under EHS regulations. · Perform any in-process quality checks and correctly fills out all EHS, Quality, and Production associated documentation, including paint logs. · Accurately report labor transactions, and material counts manually or electronically. · Performs all other necessary duties of the classification. · Transport or position units, parts, supplies, units, etc. Selects proper rigging to be used and assists where required by the size or shape of the load. · Transports painting materials in containers with a volume of 10 gallons or less (paints, additives, coatings, thinners, solvents, fillers, etc.) from storage, by hand, or pallet jack, and stocking them in designated cabinets. · Maintains a clean and orderly work area by performing such duties as returning equipment, chemicals, materials, tooling, and parts, to proper storage areas, wiping down the paint booth, disposing of trash, and broom sweeping work areas. · Observes plant rules and demonstrates safe working practices. What do you need to bring? · High School Diploma or equivalent · Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively · Open to any shift, holidays, weekends, and overtime · Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. · Moderate computer literacy What Will You Get In Return?
