Howdy’s New Creative Director

The Creative Director will be the driving force behind our most valuable product at Howdy. They will be the lead strategist for concept development ensuring we pitch the most innovative and ridiculously personalized experiences to our clients. They will act as art director to ensure we present ourselves to our clients powerfully, consistently, and creatively across all physical and digital platforms. The ideal candidate is a big thinker and obsessive doer, confident leading a team from high concept to execution and happy to dig into the nitty-gritty right beside them.

In short, they are leading their team to create the best work so they can pitch with confidence to our clients.


Here’s where you come in…

What You’ve Done:
  • 7-10 years of experience working within a design or advertising agency.
  • 3-5 years of experience leading a team.
  • Obviously knows their way around the best tools. We use Creative Cloud, Figma, Asana, WeTransfer, but would love if you showed us some new cool toys.
  • Has spent countless hours pitching, revising, and re-pitching concepts with clients.
  • Sourcing, hiring, and managing creative freelancers.
What You’ll Do:
  • Report directly to CEO
  • Sit on Leadership Team as the voice of the Creative Department
  • Lead and manage the current creative team fill the gaps with kick-ass new hires.
  • Build a solid network of freelance web designers, graphic designers, illustrators, motion designers, photographers, videographers.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages personal growth and provides opportunities for professional development to hone and expand their team’s skill set.
  • Always ahead of the game with design trends and industry knowledge.
  • Expert in process improvement and identifying opportunities to create sustainable and scalable solutions across a diverse range of projects and platforms.
  • Be the liaison between the sales and creative team.
  • Empower the team to accomplish tasks for today, but be able to zoom out and build the future.

**While we are able to accommodate fully remote positions, this role would require being in the Denver office 2-3 days a week.**
