What are the responsibilities and job description for the Royalty Accountant position at Hoxton Circle?
We're partnering with a global media and entertainment company in search of a Royalty Accountant!
This is a non-stop, high-volume, fairly fast-paced, transactional role - you'll need to be ready to jump in and hit the ground running! If you have an interest in theater and/or literature and have royalties experience in either area, you could be the perfect fit!
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 3 years of royalty experience
- Must be thorough, organized, detail oriented, and have a growth mentality
- Strong math skills; basic Excel
- People skills; able to work with different personalities
- Proactive and responsible
THE ROLE
- Responsible for tracking payments for numerous clients
- Ensure clients are paid in accordance with contracts and confirm agency commission is collected
- Must coordinate with clients and internal personnel to get needed information
- Responsible for pursuing and securing collection of payments for and from clients
- Work closely with company agents, clients, client’s business managers, attorneys, personal managers, studios, and other various buyers.
- Other responsibilities as assigned
ADDITIONAL INFO
- Comp: $65,000 - $75,000
- Benefits: 75% M/D/V coverage; Unlimited PTO; offices closed last 2 weeks of the year
