As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing various accounting functions within our shared service team. You will leverage your public accounting experience to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting and analysis. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for multiple entities.
- Conduct detailed general ledger account reconciliations.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and management reports.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and reviews.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Support special projects and initiatives as required, including financial system implementations and process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification required.
- 3-5 years of public accounting experience, preferably with a focus on audit.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Proficient in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with private equity-backed companies is a plus.
